The DFW pool builder for homeowners who don’t need to be sold.
Building custom pools across Dallas-Fort Worth since 2004. We accept just 8–10 projects a year. Adrian personally walks every property, designs every pool, and stays your single point of contact through completion. No project managers. No subcontracted design. No sales pitch.
The custom pool builder DFW who answers the phone.
Most builders run 30, 50, or 100+ projects a year. We don’t. Eight clients a year. The owner on every site visit. Every design.
Platinum Pools is a boutique design-build firm serving Dallas-Fort Worth since 2004 — with our deepest roots in Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, and the Park Cities. We accept eight to ten projects per year by choice. Adrian, our founder, personally handles every consultation, designs every pool, and stays your direct point of contact from groundbreaking to swim-ready. No project managers between you and the work. No subcontracted design.
Every backyard we build reflects how we’d want our own home built — engineered for North Texas soil, designed for how families actually live, and finished with materials chosen for longevity, not margin. Whether it’s a quiet plunge pool, a resort-scale build with a vanishing edge, or a full outdoor living transformation, we treat each project like our reputation depends on it.
Building across DFW’s most established addresses.
We work the entire metroplex, but most of our clients live in eight specific cities. Click your city for our local approach, neighborhoods we know, and HOA requirements we’ve already navigated.
Twenty years of DFW backyards, built one at a time.
A small selection of recent work across the metroplex. Every project is fully custom — no template designs, no recycled layouts.

A quiet process — built around the homeowner.
No project portals. No rotating sales reps. No marketing playbook between you and the work. Adrian is your single contact from the first walk-through to the day the pool is filled — and beyond.
Private Consultation
Adrian visits your property in person — at your convenience, including evenings. We talk about how you actually use your home, what’s worked or hasn’t worked at past properties, and what privacy and view considerations matter most.
Design & Itemized Proposal
You receive 3D photorealistic renderings, hand-selected material samples, and a fully itemized written proposal. Every line item is broken out so there’s no ambiguity, no markup hiding inside vague “allowances,” and no surprises later.
Permits, HOA & Build
We manage all city permitting and HOA architectural review packets — including the more demanding submittals across DFW’s gated communities. Once approved, our in-house crews break ground and build with discretion.
Reveal & Long-Term Care
On reveal day we walk you through every system, leave a documented binder, and stay reachable. Most of our work comes from past clients quietly recommending us — which is the only marketing strategy we trust.
A realistic range, in under a minute.
Pick the basics below and we’ll give you an honest range — not a low-ball anchor, not a fake “starting at” price. The number you see here is the conversation we’d have on a site visit, just earlier.
A real range based on what we actually charge in DFW — lot complexity, soil conditions, and HOA requirements may push final pricing up or down. Want a precise itemized proposal? Adrian comes to you.

“I have been involved in over 30 projects with Platinum Pools and look forward to many more. By far the best value and quality pool builder in DFW! Adrian, the owner, always delivers on every project. His attention to detail and quality is superb. Highly recommend.”
“First off Adrian, the owner, is a great guy. The flexibility he offers during the build process to make changes on the fly is great. And Daniel, his main masonry guy, does fantastic work! He actually cares about the quality of the work and ensures your happiness with the final product.”
“I could not be more happy with the service I received from Platinum Pools! From the design through construction, to adding the final touches, it was perfect! I even changed my mind a few times on tile and Adrian was happy to switch it out. Highly recommend Adrian and his team.”

What does a custom pool actually cost in DFW?
Most custom pool builds in DFW fall between $80,000 and $500,000+, with the typical project landing in the $150,000–$275,000 range once outdoor living and integrated landscape work are included. Lot complexity, finish materials, water features, and construction access drive most of the variation. Use the calculator above for a realistic range — or request an itemized proposal after a private site visit.
How long does a pool build take from contract to swim?
Plan on 14–22 weeks for a new build, depending on scope, weather, and HOA approval timeline. Renovations typically run 6–12 weeks. Gated community HOA review (Vaquero, Timarron, Clariden Ranch, Carillon) can add 3–6 weeks on the front end, which we manage and account for upfront.
What does “boutique” actually mean in practice?
We cap our work at 8–10 projects per year by choice. The high-volume builders run 30, 50, or 100+ projects annually — which mathematically requires project managers, rotating subcontractor crews, and clients who never speak directly with the owner. We turn down work to keep the standard high.
Do you handle HOA approvals and city permits?
Yes. We submit, track, and manage all city permitting and coordinate directly with HOA architectural review committees — including the more rigorous packets required by Vaquero, Timarron, Clariden Ranch, Carillon, and the Park Cities. Familiarity with each board’s expectations typically shortens the approval window noticeably.
Can you work alongside our architect, builder, or landscape designer?
Yes — and we frequently do. For new construction or major remodels, we coordinate directly with your architect of record, custom home builder, and landscape architect. For standalone pool projects, we lead the design ourselves. Either way, we slot into your existing project team rather than fighting for control of it.
What warranty comes with a Platinum pool?
A lifetime structural warranty on the pool shell — fully transferable to the next owner if you sell your home. All equipment carries its respective manufacturer warranties, which we register and document for you in your handover binder.
How is Platinum Pools different from the larger DFW builders?
Three things, mostly. First, Adrian is the owner, designer, and project lead on every build — not a salesperson handing you off to a project manager you’ve never met. Second, we take eight to ten projects a year by choice, not fifty or a hundred. Third, every proposal we send is fully itemized — no vague “allowances” hiding cost surprises later.
